The warranty notification feature is designed to alert customers regarding the expiration of their assets' warranties, these notifications are for mobile app and web interface.
1. Types of Notifications: There are two ways users will be notified or able to access the notifications:
- Mobile Push Notifications: These notifications are sent directly to the user's mobile device.
- Bell Icon Notifications: Notifications can also be accessed through the bell icon located in both the mobile app and web interface.
2. Notification Triggers: Warranty expiring notifications are exclusively applicable to Construction Industry customers. These notifications are triggered based on the remaining time against the warranty expiry date and/or the remining hours against the warranty hour-meter (SMU) coverage.
Period Coverage Notifications:
- 3 months before the end date
- 2 months before the end date
- 1 month before the end date
Hours Coverage Notifications:
- 300 hours before reaching the usage hours limit (SMU limit)
- 200 hours before reaching the usage hours limit (SMU limit)
- 100 hours before reaching the usage hours limit (SMU limit)
3. Notification Settings: By default, the warranty expiry notification is set to ON for users. However, users have the flexibility to toggle this feature ON/OFF in the "Notification Settings" section of the app or web interface.
4. Clicking on Notification: Clicking on a notification redirects the user to the warranty status screen. Here, users can access detailed information about their warranty, along with the option to "Purchase New Warranty" or "Request Warranty Assistance."
5. Managing the Notifications:

Bell Icon Indicator: The bell icon will display a numeric indicator when there are unread notifications. For instance, if there are more than 9 unread notifications, the bell icon will show "+9."

Swipe for Delete: Users can swipe on a notification to reveal the delete action. The delete action is represented by a red rubbish bin icon. Deleting a notification removes it from the notification list.
