Parts Tracker on Web Overview

Access Parts Tracker by clicking  Screen_Shot_2022-12-21_at_11.04.46_am.png at the top bar menu.

Snapshots

You are greeted with 4 snapshots as you enter the Parts Tracker application. Each snapshot can be clicked to give you a filtered view of the orders or parts relevant to that status.

  1. Open sales orders
  2. Parts ready for pick up
  3. Part shipped for delivery
  4. Parts backordered

Sales orders Sub-navigation tab

The Sales order view shows all open sales orders and their status by default; use the filter in the left hand panel or the search input to narrow down the list, and tap the "i" icon for explanations of each status. Click an order to see more details and stay updated on progress.

Summary tab

To access, click on a sales order. The summary tab displays key details about the sales order; bookmark the order for quick access from the main parts tracker screen and to enable status change notifications for the order, overriding your global notification settings.

Parts tab

The Parts tab lists all parts for the sales order, including procurement status, sourcing info, quantities, and estimated ready dates.

Invoices tab

Access company invoices related to the parts order in the Invoices tab, which appears when users are assigned "finance" access permissions.

Bookmarked orders sub-navigation tab

Bookmarked Sales orders are found under the "Bookmarked orders" tab. To bookmark, toggle on the bookmark from the summary tab of any sales order, and to remove the bookmark, you can either select the bell next to the order in the bookmarked orders tab, or select the order and disable the bookmark toggle from its summary tab.

Note: Bookmarking an order will turn on status change notifications specifically for this order, overriding your global notification settings.

Parts sub-navigation tab

The parts view contains a list of all the parts from all your sales orders, sorted by date last updated and grouped by status. The tab gives you a quick idea about which parts are ready and which are not. You can use the filter in the left hand panel or the search input to narrow down the list, and click the "i" icon for explanations of each status.

Note: Once a parts status has been updated to "Picked up" or "Shipped", it will be removed from this view after two weeks.

Click a part to see more details and stay updated on progress.

Part details tab

This panel gives you a detailed view about the part, by break down of status(es) if larger quantities have been ordered.

The panel also includes a link to the whole sales order. Clicking on it will navigate you to the Sales orders Sub-navigation tab and you will be shown the "Summary" tab for the Sales order.

Exporting your parts information

You can export your parts information to a CSV file.

To do this click on the Export list button on the top right of the list parts list.

You can refine your export by using the filters in the left side panel before you export.

Please note: this functionality is only available on the desktop version of HD360.

 

 

Notifications

To set up your global notification preferences for sales orders, click the bell icon in the top right corner of the page, then click on the settings cog. Choose whether to receive notifications for each status change group you're interested in.

Note: If you're using the mobile version of HD360 and have opted for notifications, you'll also get push messages for the statuses you've selected.
