Tracking new purchases

 

Introduction

New Purchase Tracking is a powerful feature that allows you to monitor the progress of your recent purchases. This tool provides a streamlined way to stay informed about your order status, ensuring a smooth and transparent purchasing experience. This guide will walk you through the steps to effectively use New Purchase Tracking.

 

Step 1: Navigate to the "New purchases" page

  • Access through widget
    • Navigate to the "Assets" widget on the homepage.
    • Click on the "New purchases" to view all the new purchase being tracked
  • Access through menu navigation
    • Click on the "Assets" on the top menu.
    • Click on the "New purchases" tab to view all the new purchases in a table list.

 

Step 2: Using filters to refine your search 

There are two filter options available on the New Purchase page to help you quickly find what you’re looking for:

  1. Filter by Stage of the Progress:

    • Use this filter to view purchases based on their current status (e.g., Order confirmed, Machine assembly, Delivered).

  2. Filter by Machine Models:

    • If you know the machine model you are looking for, use this filter to locate relevant purchases easily.

 

Step 3: Viewing your purchase details

  • Click on the purchase you wish to track.

  • The application will display detailed information, including:

    • Left column

      • Machine image
      • Machine Model eg. 308C
      • Estimated delivery date
      • Days remaining base on the estimated delivery date
    • Right column

      • Progress tab: Progress of the current machine eg. Order confirmed as shown below

      • Progress content: Content related to the progress.

      • Documents tab: Feature all the documents related to the new purchase. eg. contract, asset release form

Step 4: Understanding the progress stages

The progress stages provide a clear overview of where your order is:

  1. Order confirmed: Your quote has been received by Hastings Deering
  2. Machine in-transit: Your machine is being shipped to the build location wharf
  3. Arrived at wharf: Your order has arrived at the build location wharf
  4. Machine assembly: Your order is in the process of being build
  5. Assembly complete: Your order is in the process of getting ready for delivery
  6. In storage: Your order is in storage. Please contact your sales representative to arrange for pickup or delivery
  7. Ready for pickup: Your order is ready for pickup
  8. Picked up: Your order has been picked up from the designated location

  9. Shipped: Your order is shipped out of the build location
